Bedtime didn't come until close to 11 p.m. and we were losing an hour before we docked again.
This is a scene as we sailed away at 4 p.m. of one of the islands of the Archipelago, 30,000 islands on our way to Finland. The size of the islands varies greatly but many have vacation cottages that the Swedish people use each summer.
The Regatta band played as we sailed away and it was very festive!
And the festivities included champagne and appetizers which the waiters passed among the passengers out on deck.
We had already been to the mandatory life boat drill which seemed to be more detailed than sometimes with us donning our life jackets and listening to the rules before we trooped outside to stand beneath our particular life boat and hear more rules. Funny to see everyone in their bulky life jackets!
The crew looks like they passed each other a few cocktails prior to serving. LOL! The Titanic is what I thought seeing all those life vests. Shuddering...
