Sebelius Park, Helsinki, Finland 6/18/10

One of our stops was at a beautiful sculpture park. The sculptures were very large as you can see from the photos.
This sculpture is of Sabelius and you can see how huge it is in comparison to the lady in front of it.

The flowers were beautiful, too--a neat place to visit.
After the tour and lunch we napped again. Still trying to catch up from traveling for 36 hours! After our nap we went to tea and watched us sail away from Helsinki with lots of islands & cottages again. Tonight was the captain's cocktail party, so we dressed up again to meet the captain. We found Matt & Dona Blaine who had been on both tours with us and sat with them. We visited until time for our 7:30 reservation in the Italian dining room, Toscana. We were at a table for 8--2 Chinese ladies, Jennifer & her friend Jean from Van Couver, a couple from LA (she said she was an author & he a sail rigger) plus a retired MD Steve & wife Peg from Tuscon who were IA grads & with the alumni group. The 2 other men got talking immigration and it got a bit heated! We didn't leave the dining room until 10:30. We will lose another hour tonight and our first tour is at 8:30 a.m.
