This is a view on the autobahn. You may need to click on it in order to see the wind turbines along the skyline. Our bus left just after 8 a.m. & it was great with tray tables, footrests and seat belts. We were required to wear the seatbelts on the autobahn and they worked easily. We had taken along a tote bag with our inflatable neck pillows and Bob used one as a lumbar roll for his back. The speed limit for the bus was 60 so we had other vehicles speeding past us. Very rural, pretty green drive into the city.
Arriving in Berlin--our guide was Michaela, who reminded us a great deal of our granddaughter, Adriana. Once we got to the city, we stopped and a local guide joined us so we had 2 guides. Sascha was about 60 and had lived in Berlin through out the occupation until currently and had many personal stories to tell us. Just an excellent guide for an outstanding tour of Berlin! I should say here that I found that we had taken 120 photos of our 12 1/2 hr tour! So I have chosen just 20 to tell the story of this day.
